GCSE Results 2024

2024 saw a continuing return to pre-COVID levels. With some subjects still noting significant change in grade boundaries it was particularly pleasing to see two students equal school records by achieving six and seven grade 9’s, while both of them also secured a Level 3 algebra award. This was just one example of the success that was achieved through the hard work and dedication of students and staff alike.

The school achieved an attainment score of 44.4. The percentage of students that achieved 9-4 in both English and Maths was 64.5% and for grades 9-5 this was 40.1%.

The average point score for students entered for the English Baccalaureate (Ebacc) was 4.0 and the number of students entered for the Ebacc itself remains high at 67.8%.

As a direct consequence of this, students were able to both celebrate their success and accept offers for their next place of study. Congratulations and well done.
